The applicant who successfully completed the second year of a polytechnic engineering diploma programme after completing grade 10 and who then concurrently enrolled in an authorised 'O' Level course during the program's third year. Only until the polytechnic engineering diploma has been successfully completed will the certificate of "O" level be given.

After completing class 10 and receiving either a 10+2 diploma or an ITI Certificate (One Year), the candidate must have one year of relevant work experience. Relevant experience denotes work experience in the IT field, but excludes coaching. It also includes teaching in a reputable institution as a faculty member.

The applicant must succeed in the DGE&T (Government of India) NCVT-DP&CS (Data Preparation & Computer Software) Examination.
